Principal’s Message

Teachers are the ‘Nation Builders’ and rightly so as they mold the minds of young disciples to lead the country towards new horizons. To contribute considerably in the nation-building process by churning out earnest and arduous teachers, Dewan VS Group of Institutions set up the B.Ed. the department, approved by NCTE and affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh, University (CCSU), Meerut in the year 2004 (College Code – CCSU 986). The purpose was to make a world of difference to a teacher training program which often appeared to have lost its gloss. Dewan College of Education’s Bachelors in Education is accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘B’.

The College of Education under DIMS (Dewan Institute of Management Studies) has the privilege of having a highly qualified and committed team of teachers, who slog day-in, day-out to deliver the goods to the pupil teachers. The Teachers’ Training Program, which is of two years duration, comprises of comprehensive schedule to bring out the best in the teacher trainees. The motto behind the establishment of B.Ed College at DIMS is clearly to make a sizeable difference to the quality of teacher training Program.

At DIMS (NCR-Meerut), College of Education gives a fresh lease of life to the conventional curriculum pattern by concentrating on the overall development of teacher trainees who are duly armed with requisite skills and expertise alongside value education to imbibe human values that forever reign supreme.

The strength of our College of Education lies in the fact that it promotes quality teacher training program to transform the pupil-teacher into unmatched, unfazed leaders who are the leading lights to their students and at the same time carriers of our rich cultural heritage.
