The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Dewan Institute of Management Studies is established as a post-accreditation quality sustenance mechanism, in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
IQAC functions as a facilitative and participative body, working towards the continuous improvement of academic and administrative performance of the institution. It acts as a catalyst for promoting a culture of quality, innovation, and accountability across all institutional processes.
The cell focuses on systematic planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality initiatives, ensuring that the institution consistently moves towards excellence in teaching-learning, research, and extension activities.
The primary objectives of IQAC are:

The IQAC performs the following key functions:
Development and application of quality benchmarks and parameters for academic and administrative activities.
Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation.
Collection, analysis, and use of feedback from stakeholders (students, parents, alumni, employers).
Organization of workshops, seminars, and training programmes on quality-related themes.
Documentation of various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement.
Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per NAAC guidelines.
Promotion of best practices, innovation, and institutional distinctiveness.
Monitoring and evaluation of teaching-learning processes and outcomes.
Ensuring proper maintenance of institutional database and records.
Acting as a nodal agency for coordination with NAAC and other quality bodies.
